Wella professionals' gennow entries close soon Entries for next year's Wella Professionals' campaign Generation Now (GenNOW), dedicated to finding five rising stars within the industry, are closing on November 5 2020 at 5pm. Those selected will be offered a place on an 18-month mentoring programme. This year’s GenNOW mentoring scheme, which is celebrating its 10-year anniversary, will be led by award-winning lead mentor and former GenNOW team member, Luke Benson. On his own experience, Luke commented: “GenNOW introduced me to some incredibly inspirational people, opening fantastic opportunities that without GenNOW I would never have received.” According to Wella Professionals, being a chosen member of the GenNOW team “will open doors to a wide range of educational opportunities and on-stage platform work at some of the industry’s biggest events.” Many prior members have also gone on to become Wella craft artists. The opportunity is open to all stylists that are 18 years of age or over and have 3-8 years of UK or Ireland based experience (does not need to be salon based). For those thinking of entering, Wella has stated that knowing the Wella product portfolio, being a key team player, having a strong digital profile, and showing demonstrable skills in a multitude of hair textures are all crucial. To enter, interested stylists need to simply post photo or video examples of their work to their Instagram Grids using the carousel feature. They will not be accepting work posted to Instagram Stories. In the post’s caption, stylists must then add information about themselves, their passions, and explain why they want to be part of the GenNOW team. Finally, use the hashtag #WellaGenNOW in the caption, and tag @wellahairUKI and @lukebensonhair. For any further information, click here or email [email protected]
