Tracey Devine-Smith Opens New Salon in Derbyshire
Multi-award winning hairdresser Tracey Devine-Smith has announced the opening of her new salon, French and Ivi, in Belper.
French and Ivi is a new step for Tracey, who previously owned a chain of salons in her hometown of Aberdeen. Since then her career has taken her worldwide, serving clients in the United Arab Emirates, Madrid, Cyprus and London. She has been the recipient of numerous awards and landed in the British Hairdressing Hall of Fame after being crowned Scottish Hairdresser of the Year four years in a row.
The salon will allow Tracey, who is also the global ambassador for ASP, to continue to fulfil her passion of working behind the chair. “I will never fall out of love with hairdressing. To see clients, walk out of the salon looking and feeling wonderful, is the greatest achievement of all,” she says.
It was family commitments that brought Tracey to the Derbyshire town and she instantly fell in love with the town. “I will never fall out of love with hairdressing. To see clients, walk out of the salon looking and feeling wonderful, is the greatest achievement of all,” says Tracey.
French and Ivi is a family venture with Tracey’s daughter Poppy Devine-Smith, who completed her hairdressing training in London joining her mum on the team.
