Sebastian Professional Announces 2022/23 CULT Team
A group of six inspiring and creative hairdressers have been crowned as the new 2022/23 Sebastian Professional CULT Team.
The dynamic team have managed to stand out from the competition and make it through the initial online entry, as well as a live audition where they presented a model to a panel of hairdressing experts.
The hair discovery journey will include opportunities to represent Sebastian live on stage and spend valuable time with some of Sebastian’s leading artists and industry mentors. The incredible programme will include presentation guidance workshops, creative design process sessions, cutting and styling seminars, and editorial styling events.
The team are:
Leah Udall from Volt Salon, Sheffield
Nathaniel Oakey from YAEKO, Leeds
Jenni Stewart from Wonderland, Livingston, Scotland
Darren Smith from Review, Petersfield, Hampshire
Emily Nelson from House of Colour, Dublin
Alexandra Wood from Paul Falltrick Hairdressing, Romford, Essex
Angelo Vallillo, Sebastian Professional international team artist said: “We are so excited to welcome the new CULT Team. I’m confident we have an outstanding combination of skills and raw talent who will work together perfectly. I can’t wait to start our journey together and see their creativity at work. The Sebastian brand has no boundaries which reflects the hairdressing skills of this team perfectly.”
Last year’s programme saw the previous CULT team experiencing an 18-month mentoring program to enable each member to try different modes of hairdressing education to further their careers, with a minimum of 10 days of mentoring from industry leaders, covering topics such as wig make-up, media training, creative hairdressing skills, platform hairdressing insights, product knowledge, presentation guidance and session hairdressing.
