As the industry adjusts to life after lockdown the Fellowship for British Hairdressing is continuing to inspire members with online education. Fellowship president, Ken Picton, said "We have loved being able to inspire and educate our members and the wider hairdressings industry throughout lockdown, and we don't want to stop now just because salons are back!" As a result of this passion, they are launching the Sunday Showdown series.
Broadcasting from 2 of August with a different fellowship host each week, the series aims to give viewers informative and inspirational content. The Showdown consists of pre-recorded shows and interviews alongside educational pieces. Importantly, each instalment will have a timely theme relevant to what's happening in the industry or wider topics. These include the best of F.A.M.E and spotlighting Robert Eaton, the reigning British Hairdresser of the Year.
Ken concluded by saying "as an organisation the Fellowship for British Hairdressing is lucky to have masses of video content featuring some of the biggest names in hairdressing at shows and events, as well as in exclusive interviews and tutorials filmed for us. We're delighted to be able to share these with the world as part of our new Sunday Showdown series, which promises to keep the Fellowship's education going online as we continue to work with the new normal."
