Fellowship clubstar art team 2020 go backstage at lfw

The Clubstar Art Team 2020 started their year with the exciting opportunity to work backstage at London Fashion Week. Karoliina Saunders, the ClubStar project leader arranged for the team to assist lead stylist, Sophie Springett from Toni & Guy at the Ones To Watch show. The show was sponsored by Label.m and featured the work of three upcoming designers Manon Planche, Saint Ego and Young n Sang, each with their own hair look. The team members worked alongside Sophie and the Label.m styling team, creating looks for both male and female models. The team not only learned valuable session styling skills, but also the importance of teamwork, backstage etiquette and how to respond to a brief. Team member Sam Arnold said: “My dream of working at London Fashion Week has become a reality. It was everything I could dream and more, I’m so grateful for the opportunity.” Another team member Jordy Barlow said: “I’ve done backstage work for numerous industry hair shows, but this was my first time at a fashion week. It was really interesting to see how it all comes together and the Label.m session team couldn’t have been any more welcoming. The look I worked on for Manon Plache was an undone natural texture hairstyle. I find a lot of my clients want this look, rather than blow-dried and salon-fresh hair, so this is definitely something I’ll be taking back to the salon.” Karoliina Saunders said: “Everyone in the team was super excited about the opportunity, especially when they saw their work on the catwalk.
