Timely offers Covid-19 financial relief package
Salon software company Timely has announced a significant financial relief package for the UK hair and beauty industry. Timely is calling on other industry suppliers to step up and do more to help during this latest lockdown.
Timely has provided over £370,000 to more than 15,000 businesses during lockdown and has proactively extended this relief in the UK and Ireland for a further 3 months while salons are unable to trade. In addition to relief for existing customers, Timely is now giving its platform away for free to businesses currently using pen and paper or on other systems for the duration of the lockdown.
Authentic Beauty Concept launches mind, body, soul social content
Supporting wellness during lockdown, Authentic Beauty Concept has launched a new series of social content, helping hairdressers explore their creativity, find peace at a time of difficulty, and serve as a reminder to take care of their mind, body and soul.
The full schedule of Instagram Lives will cover everything from cooking tutorials, watercolour painting, yoga and sustainable fashion, all guided by industry experts

Kao Salon Division offers updated Salon Recovery Guide
The company, which includes Goldwell, KMS and Oribe, has a Salon Recovery Guide to help salons prepare for reopening.
It is focused on helping salons recover and rebuild as they emerge from the COVID-19 crisis. The initiative is comprised of three pillars of carefully constructed support campaigns (Stronger Together, Creativity Never Stops and KAO Salon Family) designed to address the unique challenges facing the industry and its professionals as they look to reopen.

La Biosthetique is sharing tutorials on its YouTube channel.
L’anza offers Zoom training sessions
L’anza is running an extensive variety of Zoom training sessions for its salons to take part in over this third lockdown period. These sessions are open to its current salon list, but the brand also has the below resources which are open to all:
Live tutorials and technique videos are shared weekly and led by the Global Education Team. These are open to everyone and a great place to pick up colouring and styling tips.

Liz McKeon offers free business planning session
Salon business expert Liz McKeon is launching two free business planning broadcasts to help plan for the year ahead. Registering for the event includes a free download of her business planning model template. Salon owners can download this in advance of the event and Liz will explain the key elements in defining your strategy for success in 2021.

L’Oréal Professional Products Division, which includes L’Oréal Professionnel, Kérastase, Redken, Shu Uemura, Pureology, Matrix, Biolage and Pulp Riot, has updated its Salon Support Guides for UK and ROI.

NHBF offers help and advice on its website
The National Hair & Beauty Federation (NHBF) has a wealth of advice financial and otherwise on its website and via its social channels that are continually updated with guides and information for salons and barbershops.

Schwarzkopf Professional and Henkel Brands extends digital vouchers initiative
Schwarzkopf Professional is extending its Digital Vouchers initiative, allowing salons to offer personalised vouchers for clients to purchase now for use on in-salon services once the lockdown is lifted.

Timely offers free online support
Booking software company Timely has launched a ‘6 Weeks of Wellness Campaign’ to show support for the UK hairdressing industry. Over the coming weeks, Timely will be sharing giveaways, resources, and educational content all relating to wellness. Timely has set-up a COVID Resource Hub on its website to show support to the industry.
As part of the campaign Timely has also partnered with The Help Hub to provide a free online emotional support service powered by a network of 800 qualified therapists. The booking of appointments are made through Timely software.
Additionally, Hollie Power from Salonology is currently hosting a series of live talks every Tuesday morning from 10.30-11am on the Timely Facebook platform.
Vish Colour Management System offers free webinars
Vish Colour Managements Systems is launching a series of webinars to help you boost profitability from your colour services.

Wella Professionals educators are hosting digital education classes via Zoom.
