Green salon collective launches trashy hairdressers day 2022 Green Salon Collective (GSC) has announced details of Trashy Hairdressers Day 2022. Taking place on Sunday 21 August in central London, Trashy Hairdressers Day is an open invitation to GSC members and their families to join the GSC team in a local litter pick. The event will begin at 1pm at the Gary Ingham Aveda Lifestyle Salon and Spa, then move through Camden and along the canal, collecting litter en route. Those attending are then invited back to the salon for a well-deserved drink and the now-famous ‘certificate of trashiness’, honouring their participation in the litter pick. The annual event took place for the first time last year and offers GSC members the opportunity to get together and give back to the local community, while raising awareness of Green Salon Collective and its work. “We’re really excited to once again be hosting Trashy Hairdressers Day, a social event which is all about having fun while doing good,” says Fry Taylor, co-founder of Green Salon Collective. “We hope as many of our members as possible will join us for what promises to be a memorable day and the chance to show our planet a little more love.” The event is also taking place in Dublin on Sunday 28 August and Belfast on Sunday 4 September.
