ASP Launches 2022 Trend:Edit

ASP Expert Haircare has announced the launch of their latest annual trend forecast series, the trend:edit 2022. Trend:edit 2022 was conceptualised to inspire salon professionals and pave the way for future styles and fashion trends. Curated in conjunction with the ASP Ambassador Team, under the direction of Global Ambassador Tracey Devine-Smith, trend:edit identifies four global fashion trends from around the world. These collections are expected to become even bigger for seasons ahead and have been broken into essential cuts, colours and styling. They provide a comprehensive how-to guide with step-by-steps to empower the stylist to 'go bold' and unlock their creativity. The trend:edit is in a multi-level, digitally formatted report for a fully immersive experience, giving stylists the ability to have all the information at their finger tips, when and where they want it.

Dawn Till Dusk

Inspired by fashion catwalk trends of 21/22, a time of uncertainty, hope and self- reflection, Dawn Till Dusk intertwines light, reflective colour enhancements with shadows of deeper sumptuous warmth. This creates hypnotising high and low notes taking the hair to another dimension. The halos of reflective colourations are maximised with fluid, natural texture, freedom of movement and a shine finish.

Inspired by London’s vibrant and thriving Soho, the Soho Twentytwo trend is a nod towards Mod culture; celebrating authenticity. Clear undertones of quintessential Mod punk themes run through Soho TwentyTwo, with clean lines and traces of grunge. These looks are perfect for anyone who has a youthful zest for life.

Parisian Chic

Parisian Chic takes inspiration from the catwalks of Paris’ Spring/ Summer 2022 collections – which was reminiscent of watching a classic black and white movie turn into high-definition colour. Vitamin Fresh is a celebration of the new wave of a wellness conscious generation, who are committed to a well-balanced and active lifestyle, and embracing an inner glow. Clean tones of lemon, blueberry and sparkling melon can be found within these looks, with a glistening shine and healthy condition.
