On Monday 19 June 2023, the L’Oréal Colour Trophy Ireland winners were announced at the Grand Final, held at Royal Dublin Society in Dublin.

Ever evolving and growing since 1966 when the L’Oréal Colour Trophy first launched in Ireland, the competition continues to spotlight the talent of the industry from across the whole of Ireland.

Each year the competition welcomes hundreds of competitors and guests, and this year the competition was fiercer than ever. L’Oréal Colour Trophy brings out the best in colourists abilities and industry judges, Sally Brooks, Brooks & Brooks, Nathan Walker, Trevor Sorbie, Abigail Butler, Strictly Xtended, Angel Montague-Sayers, Sally Montague Hair Group, and Adam Reed, Arkive by Adam Reed, had the tough job of selecting the winners.

Hosted by TV Presenter, Darren Kennedy, the evening saw a breath-taking show ‘Blank Space’, by Marlon Hawkins at Brooks & Brooks, with iD Artists, Mike DeCanter (Zeba, Dublin), Callum O’Donovan (The Edge Hair Design, Cork), Claudia Walsh (Davey Davey, Dublin), Orla Langton (Wildflower, Dublin), Gemma Murphy (Dylan Bradshaw, Dublin), and Emma Marcey (ODD, Limerick). The show presented concepts and colour in an unexpected way, taking the audience on a journey to finding beauty in a blank space, exploring pops of colour, silhouettes, and dynamic energy, before the winners were officially announced.
