Venice film festival: hair highlights from day one

The 68th annual Venice Film Festival got off to a glamorous start with a series of leading ladies showing off some seriously stylish red carpet looks on day one.
Diane Kruger continues her reign as queen of effortless hair, with her honey blonde locks styled in simple waves by day and a casual loose braid, slung over one shoulder, by night.
Beachy texture gives both of these looks a cool, relaxed feel - the perfect cool girl complement to glittering red carpet gowns.
Actress Marisa Tomei revealed lighter locks, transforming her glossy brunette shade with some strategically-placed highlights in shades of blonde ranging from champagne to coppery gold.
