Trevor sorbie barbershop opens in richmond Trevor Sorbie Barbershop Opens in Richmond The first Trevor Sorbie barbershop has opened, located within the brand’s new salon in Richmond, South West London. Trevor, who celebrated 50 years in the industry last year, famously started his hairdressing career in his father's barbershop. Having left school at 15 with no qualifications, a role sweeping the floor in his dad's two-chair salon seemed like the only option. In just three months, he was cutting hair - and the rest is hairdressing history. Speaking of his new venture, Trevor says: "In our newly opened Richmond Salon, we’ve decided to offer a new service in the form of a traditional barbershop. Offering services such as men’s cutting, wet shaves and hot towels, we’re taking an authentic approach in a modern way." Samuel Galvin, who is heading up this new venture under the management of salon owner Suella Ritchie, said: "The Trevor Sorbie Barbershop represents everything a barber shop should be. Good cuts, good shaves and everything in between." galleryWidgetDec14
