Stands designed to make an impact at salon international 2012 amica-salon-international-2012.jpgSalon International is packed with inspiration - but as well as beautiful hair, innovative products and impactful styling, ideas can also be found in the creative designs of some of the exhibitions more imaginative stands.

Looking ahead to Spring/Summer 2013's sixties chic - as seen at Louis Vuitton and PPQ, Amica styled their stand in psychedelic prints in a rainbow palette.

The great outdoors came indoors at Aston and FIncher, with a cosy backwash enclave given a forest fresh finish. Tree-print wallpaper worked perfectly with the wood-effect backwash units for a relaxing, spa-inspired backwash.

Bangstyle arrived at Salon International with a suitable splash, bringing to life the edgy urban appeal of the brand with a complementarily cool stand. Paint splashes, raw edges and live photoshoots perfectly reflected the on-trend aesthetic of the brand.

White, bright and sleek were the watchwords at Keune, where rounded edges gave a futuristic feel to the clean-lined, minimalist stand. The perfect clean palette to showcase the brand's colour range.

Sometimes a brand's colours are so iconic that they speak for themselves; at Moroccanoil the buyers' lounge is a peaceful haven in the brand's trademark blue, orange and white - sometimes keeping it simple with key colours makes a striking impact.

Salon Supplies are encouraging vistors to put themselves in the frame - ideally situated right next to HJ's British Hairdressing Awards gallery, the stand allows guests to see themselves as a masterpiece by stepping into an oversized gilt frame.

In keeping with their status as official hair sponsors for London Fashion Week, TONI & GUY's stand featured a sleek black and white catwalk in a glossy finish. With regular shows on the stand demonstrating some of the looks they created backstage, what better way to show off their fashion week credentials than with a full-size catwalk?
