The Palm Springs International Film Festival got off to a glamorous start with a star-studded gala featuring a guest appearance from Angelina Jolie.

Michelle Williams also had a new shade to show off on the red carpet, updating her perfect pixie crop with a slightly darker blonde.
The almost-auburn hue is extremely flattering on Michelle and works perfectly with her peaches and cream complexion.
