Interiors inspiration: westrow, harrogate Positioned in the heart of Harrogate town centre, nestled among luxury shops and leading eateries, Westrow Harrogate has recently enjoyed a stunning salon revamp, courtesy of new Franchisee, Jeremy Bridgeman. Westrow Salon Harrogate The salon, which enjoyed extensive refurbishment three years ago, has recently been transformed by some bold design additions and some smaller, but equally significant, changes to mark the new ownership and direction of the award-winning salon. Factfile: Size: 1,000 sq ft Date of revamp: July 2015 Dimensions: Two floors, including basement Styling Stations: 11 Backwashes: A dedicated secluded area, with mood lighting throughout. Provides a private and relaxing experience for clients. Specific features: Exterior: 3D white lettering; illuminated front window display; striking collection images in the windows. Interior: Cloud-like lighting feature above reception; mood lighting in backwash area Design: Additions to existing design Budget: ?10,000 The reception area has been transformed with a distinctive cluster of floating, cloud-like light fittings, offering a style statement as soon as clients step inside and adding softness to the clinical, straight lines of the salon. The new backwash area is another perfect example of this new warm, welcoming environment and is secluded, with mood lighting added throughout, providing the perfect private and relaxing experience for clients. The exterior has also been transformed. Bold, white 3D-style lettering of the salon name has been hung from swing boards, to add impact and draw in passing trade. Continuing with the eye-catching exterior theme, Jeremy made the most of the salon’s existing huge front windows, adding striking collection images from Westrow’s Ethereal and New Dawn collections. The beautiful images were then illuminated, for maximum visual effect at night. [hji-gallery-legacy] With his inspired ideas and a dogged determination to give his clients an experience that will keep them coming back, it’s clear to see how Jeremy, as the new Franchisee, was a natural fit for the Westrow brand. It’s also easy to see why, under Jeremy’s direction, Westrow Harrogate has come to boast an interior that’s such a talking point, both among clients, and throughout the town. Jeremy said: “The client experience is absolutely key in our profession, so providing a salon environment that they will look forward to visiting and will then talk about to their friends was vital when it came to updating the interior. Meeting our clients’ needs is also part of the reason for our impending expansion, and we are hoping to renovate and extend the salon in 2016, introducing a dedicated beauty section. I’m thrilled to have taken over as Franchisee and will keep evolving the salon as I go.”
