Cate goes for the chop
Australian actress Cate Blanchett caused a stir at the 64th Annual Tony Awards in New York with her smart new crop.
Before going for the chop, the Robin Hood star gave the gamine look a test run at Cannes Film Festival, tucking her mid-length locks into a tight bun for a deceptively short style.
Although critics were divided on Cate's shiny silver Armani suit, her new crop received a universal thumbs up. With her fab chiselled cheekbones and strikingly elegant features, Cate carries off a short cut with style. Keeping a sweeping fringe softens the look, while the volumised movement around the crown and high-shine finish keep the look red carpet ready.
