Alternative hair show hosts 2015 visionary awards ireland

The 2015 winners of the Alternative Hair Show's Visionary Awards Ireland were named this week, with three talented hairdressers now going on to represent the Irish contingent at the international final. This year's national finals were held at the glitzt Mansion House in Dublin during the annual Best of the Best Hair Awards. Presenting on the night was was Irish actor and radio presenter Killian O’Sullivan, who was joined on stage by Alternative Hair founder, Tony Rizzo. The Visionary Award Ireland Winners who will go through to the international finals at the Alternative Hair Show on Sunday 11 October 2015 are: Stephen O’Driscoll from the Hugh Campbell Hair Group Limerick City won the Avant Garde Visionary Ireland Award. His amazingly detailed hairstyle took 12 months to complete! Sarah Mason from Renaissance Hairdressing in Galway City was named Cut and Colour winner - and not only created the hairstyle, but also designed and made the dress her model wore on the night. Joining Sarah as the second finalist in the cut and colour section was Barry McDonagh from Altamoda Hair in Ennis, Country Clare. The new Men’s Cut and Style award was won by the talented Florin Ghile from Zeba Hairdressing in Dublin. Florins model, Karl Bowe, has recently ended his reign as Mr Ireland and certainly turned a few heads on the evening!
