British Hairdressers Judge at Russian Championships

Trevor Mitchell, of Trevor Mitchell International, Southampton and his art director, Nick Martin, were recently invited to judge the National Hairdressing Championships of Russia in St Petersburg.
Thousands of spectators turned up to support the 1,500 competitors and Trevor and Nick were both hugely impressed by the array of talent on show - and the commitment of the Russian hair industry to investing and promoting the event.
Said Trevor: "It says something about how the UK is valued by the Hairdressing Federation in Russia that two British judges were chosen as the only judges from outside the Russian Federation.
"I was told that they respect and recognise our integrity and honesty and to this end we have been invited back again in 2010.
"Nick and I were lost for words at the intensity of the energy around us. The hairdressing on display was nothing short of world class."
