HJi hearts . . . Fern Britton's blonde bob

With all the scandal that Fern has faced over the past year, it's good to know that her hair has kept her looking fabulous.
Most television presenters over the age of 35 opt for hair-sprayed height with crispy bits. It's great to see a presenter bucking the trend with a soft, blonde bob.
Fern has been the victim of much criticism, firstly over her rapid weight-loss, helped along by a secret, gastric band. We reckon that it's nobody's business how Fern shaped up, she looks great.
She's now involved in a pay scandal which if it is true, there's no reason why Fern should be earning so much less than her This Morning co-star Phillip Schofield. She's had a tough year, thank goodness her hairstyle is holding up.
The tapered bob flatters Fern's face. The longer length at the front blends perfectly with her fringe and the choppy, yet soft layers work well. Fern's colour also looks great with honey blonde tones that brighten up her complexion.
Fern clearly knows her Prada from her Primark and looks lovely in an array of fitted jackets and pretty accessories like her slick, silky scarf.
Fern looks fabulous for her early fifties and should be celebrated for her style and confidence.
