Redken Urban Talent 2009

redkentalentlogo.JPGHigh fashion and creativity are the ingredients at The Redken Urban Talent competition and it's the perfect place for stylists to showcase their talent and skills on stage.

The competition has three categories and they are all concerned with Autumn/Winter 2009 High Fashion Trends.

Pro-Edge-Models.jpgRedken Artistic Parties

Taking place at three sell out events around the country, members of the Redken Artistic Team - Chris Moody, Lee Stafford, George Garcia and Chris Barren - put on an inspiring show.

You can see techiques and ideas from the live presentations on the official Redken Events site.   

The Artistic Parties also saw the naming of this year's Redken Urban Talent Finalists.

Monday 21st September - The final of Urban Talent at TRIBE09
Monday 5th October - Color Genius winners' photo shoot

Blonde-Glam-models.jpgColor Genius - Create a beautiful, well executed Redken colour result on a female model, that is also glamorous and polished using the Autumn/Winter 2009 runway collections as inspiration. The cut/design should complement the overall look.

Style Innovator - Create an avant garde, contemporary design for a female using the Autumn/Winter 2009 trends as inspiration for your total look. The color used should complement the overall look.

Male Expert - Create a cut/design for a male using the Autumn/Winter 2009 runway collections as inspiration for your total look. The color used should complement the overall look.

Prizes

Professional-Edge2.jpgColor Genius (worth £30,000)

  • A photo shoot based on the winning look at a top London studio, Redken will provide a make up artist and photographer whilst it is the winners responsibility to provide the clothes and the model.
