Colour

BEFORE 1. Hair was divided into four sections, allowing the parting to fall following the natural direction of hair growth. 2. A radial section was created through the back of the head.
sbs1-3.jpg > sbs1-4.jpg > sbs1-5.jpg
3. In two large sections, slices were created using 6% Colour & Light Soft-Mix. For stronger contrasts the oxidant is increased, or bleach used 4. This process was repeated on the other side 5. Slices of colour were worked through the weight of the fringe with Colour & Light and Tone Lotion, to create a gentle lighting effect. The remaining area was left free.

6. La Biosthetique Tint & Tone 7/2/7B medium blonde beige was applied to the rest of the hair

Cut
sbs1-7.jpg > sbs1-8.jpg > sbs1-9.jpg
1. Hair was cut into a straight line. 2. The top was graduated by pulling the hair straight out and upwards, leaving out the fringe section. 3. Graduation was continued on the top of the head by working with radial sections.
sbs1-10.jpg > sbs1-11.jpg > sbs1-12.jpg
4. The fringe remained longer and disconnected to the top of the head. 5. Hair was twisted onto a large curling iron... 6. ...then secured with clips and left to cool.

Styling
