Inside The Mind Of Robert Lobetta

I've just spent the night with Robert Lobetta -- and he took me to places no hairdresser has taken me before!
An Evening with Robert Lobetta was held by the Fellowship for British Hairdressing at the Wella World Studio in London.
Robert, one of the most creative hairdressers of his generation, talked candidly about his life and career, the ups and downs, the importance of having a vision -- and what makes a vision --collaborations with people in and outside the industry and how he turned his mistakes into his advantage.
For over an hour the star-studded audience were held captivated, with names such as Errol Douglas, Tim Hartley, Joshua Galvin, Sean Hanna, Paul Merritt and Gary Hooker and Michael Young awe-struck at his honesty, integrity and passion.
As the evening finished with a Q&A section, young Ross Taylor from Paul Falltrick asked if he could assist Robert on a shoot -- and Robert said yes, leaving eveyone in the audience wishing they had asked the same question! It truly was a night to remember -- especially for Ross. Watch this space and we'll let you know how he got on. Ruth @HJi
