What's in Beverly C's Bag?

We took a peek inside former HJ British Hairdresser of the Year Beverly C’s handbag, to find the items she can’t bear to be without.

For Hold
In my opinion, Goldwell Light Kiss hairspray is the best – and I’ve used them all!

For My Hair
I love the Kent paddle brush – it’s an absolute must for every session job, and I use it myself.

For Work
I love Japanese hair grips – they are the most amazing grips I’ve ever used and hold hair in place all day.

For Travel
Frequent air travel plays havoc with my skin, so I use Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream to moisturise my lips and any dry patches .

For Shopping
I change my handbag all the time but I always keep my Tod’s purse with me – it’s full of receipts.

For Refreshment
I’ve always got a bottle of water with me – and I’ll add a few drops of Bach Rescue Remedy if I need it.

For Organisation
I took some persuading to buy one but now I think my BlackBerry Pearl is absolutely brilliant. I use it for staying in touch by phone or email, and I can view photos on there too.

For Making-Up
MAC translucent Blot Powder and its Lip Glass glosses in neutral shades are my firm favourites.

For Inspiration
Italian Vogue never fails to inspire me. When I’m catching a plane I always pick up a copy.

For Luck
I always carry something that belonged to my mum – usually a piece of jewellery – plus a photo of my daughters Natasha, Jordanna and Alex.
