The industry's own charity the Hair and Beauty Benevolent has re-launched their website and also started a myspace page to appeal to hairdressers and beauty therapists of all ages.
"The internet is a medium that more and more people are looking towards to gain up to the minute information.
"It is essential that HABB as a charity is seen to be targeting potential members and beneficiaries through the internet. You can buy tickets on line, become a member or just find out information about how we work,” explains HABB Chairman Philip Rogers.

With visuals from both the hair and beauty industry, the site has a strong visual appeal and keeps the information succinct and easy to digest.
HABB has also created a website button so companies who’d like to support HABB can include the button on their own website. To request yours, call them directly on 01372 849 639.
HABB is also keeping up with the social network explosion and has created its own myspace page. Their page lists forthcoming events and messages to appeal to the younger audience.
