The straight trend continues to make its mark on the red carpet, and while play-it-safe stars with a love of old-school glamour still opt for sideswept curls or classic waves, those with more of an eye for an edgy trend are embracing the sleek look.
Here, we see which stars made it work...
Taylor Swift
"Harry Styles must be kicking himself after seeing Taylor at the BRITs! I love that her hair has an enormous amount of shine and it still looks smooth and sleek. She really suits darker hair shades." Gary Sunderland, Doll Hair Care
Natasha Khan
"I think this is incredibly chic and classy style for the Bat for Lashes frontwoman. Natasha looks lovelyl her hair has a great amount of shine to it and she pulls this look off perfectly." Tiff J, 3Thirty Salons
Jourdan Dunn
"What can I say? Jourdan looks absolutely gorgeous! Sleek and straight suits her perfectly and middle partings are bang on trend at the moment so Jourdan did very well indeed - although what else would you expect from one of London Fashion Week's stars? " Anne Veck, Anne Veck Salons
Jessie J
"I'm loving the fact that Jessie J is embracing her feminine side! Long luscious, poker straight locks creates a softness around her square jawline and. Understated yet very sexy." Skyler McDonald, Sean Hanna
Denise van Outen
"Grown-up rock chick is the first thing which springs to mind when I look at Denise's hair style. The quiff looks rushed, too smooth and a bit flat and the volume of the ponytail is too thin. If you're going to do this look, you must REALLY go for it with a dishevelled big quiff!" Craig Chapman, Craig Chapman Hair Design
