In her latest shoot for Flaunt magazine, actress Evan Rachel Wood is snapped with the sides of her quiffed style covered in hair grips. Styled by Lady Gaga's hairdresser, Patricia Morales, the look has a modern, fashion-forward feel - giving an edgy finish that contrasts starkly against Evan's uber-glam makeup. Showing off a softer take on the pins-as-accessories look, Diane Kruger added textural interest to her romantic, curly ponytail with a series of white grips down one side of the style. It's a more subtle take on the look, but gives an edge to her otherwise uber-girly look.
On the catwalks, Carolina Herrera and Dior both opted for the more-is-more approach to accessories, piling on bobby pins to create sculptural styles that are more like headpieces than hairstyles.
