Cheryl cole goes blonde!

The internet was awash yesterday with rumours that Cheryl Cole had coloured her hair blonde, and after much anticipation we can now reveal the first pictures of her new lighter locks.
As well as a summery new shade, Cheryl is also sporting a shorter cut with less obvious extensions than we're used to seeing.
Celebrity hairdresser Richard Ward says:
"Well the internet was alight yesterday with 'has she, hasn't she' rumours - and I suppose it's still the same! I wouldn't really call this a blonde; more a toffee tone. With Cheryl's skin tone she wouldn't want to go too light straight away, and this is complementary for her complexion."
"Her 'bob' is a long, graduated style with heavy layers and it does look like she's still wearing extensions for that extra volume she's renowned for. It's her birthday today, she's had a few rough weeks and it's natural for a woman to sometimes change their style drastically to give themselves extra confidence and a feel good factor. The pap shots show her looking happy and taking it in her stride and enjoying the new look."
