Ladies in red take to the catwalk to launch new york fashion week

New York Fashion Week got off to a charitable start last night with the fund-raising Red Dress Collection show in aid of the Heart Truth foundation. 

Celebs including Cat Deeley and Dita Von Teese got dolled up in their finest red gowns for the catwalk show, which aimed to raise awareness of heart disease in women.

Both Cat and reality star Audrina Patridge opted for tumbling barrel curls to match their gowns. I love Cat's Hollywood highlights, but she looks a bit too blonde here - I much prefer Audrina's brunette style.

Also sashaying down the catwalk were scarlet ladies Camila Alves and Dita Von Teese. It's great to see Camila with her natural curly hair tumbling down her back, and it looks in great condition too. Dita stuck to her trademark style with a set retro look, combining bouncy curls with a loose chignon.
