Soap Stars Lather Up for Charity at Kink Hair Salon

Shane and Rita - or Alfie and Roxy as they are better known in Walford - swapped the Queen Vic for the backwash at the all-day fundraiser, washing hair, chatting with clients and even participating in karaoke.
Salon owner Theo Silveston - who is married to Rita - and his team host the event every year, donating proceeds to a local cause. This year, generous clients, staff and friends helped to raise£8,000 raised for Noah's Ark Children's Hospice.
Shane said: ""I really enjoyed lathering up, washing hair and having a natter with the clients. It's not so different from the chit chat with me mates at the Queen Vic! I have been supporting Noah's Ark for a couple of years now, it's a great charity and does an amazing job for lots of kids and their families."
