John Frieda and his celebrity friends will once again be cycling around Ibiza to raise money for Great Ormond Street Hospital – and you’re invited to take part.
Joining John this year will be DJ Pete Tong, fellow hairdresser Lee Stafford and his fiancée, Jessica Jane Clement – and, if you think you’re up for it, you!
Taking place between 3 and 6 May, the testing two-day Round the Island cycle challenge covers an impressive 135km or 190km (dependent on ability) and culminates with a celebratory party at Pacha.
The challenge is part of the HAIRraising appeal, which brings together the UK hairdressing industry to to support GOSH. Having smashed the original target of £1million towards new operating theatres at the hospital, the appeal now aims to raise a further £1million towards a new respiratory unit.
John says: “I’m thrilled to be working with the charity once again and I am so proud of what the HAIRraising appeal has achieved so far. The Ibiza cycle challenge will be a tough adventure for cyclists but I’m sure the beautiful surroundings and such a worthwhile cause will spur them on as they negotiate the whole Island on two wheels for a truly unique experience”.
Up for it?
