Tony Winder Retires after Forty Years

Lancashire hairdresser, Tony Winder had a surprise announcement for staff when they gathered to celebrate his Rossendale salon Antony and Patricia's 40th anniversary - he told his team that he was retiring.

Tony also announced that he intended to make his last day in the salon on 6 February next year a memorable one, by auctioning off his last 10 haircuts for charity.

Said Tony: "In the past 40 years I have worked with some great people and built up valuable friendships with many of my clients. Hairdressing has been in my family for so long, I'm sure I will find it tough when faced with my last customer in the chair."
