Punky popster Gwen Stefani has always been a style-setter and her recent high-hair, soft quiff is another fashion winner.
Scraped off the face and backcombed for dizzy heights, the hollaback girl is giving James Dean's classic 1950s style a girly twist with a cute ponytail knot at the back.
Gwen's bleached, rock babe locks are her trademark look and although she sticks to the white-blonde hue, she isn't afraid to experiment with the style.
With a successful music career and her own respected fashion labels - the Japanese-inspired L.A.M.B and Harajuku Lovers, it's no wonder that Gwen is the choice of fashionistas.
Gwen even received the ultimate style seal of approval from American Vogue editor and fashion icon Ann Wintour who was
snapped with Gwen at 'Fashion's Night Out,' an event that celebrates fashion and aims to restore consumer confidence, held at Bloomingdale's, New York.
Top snipper Errol Douglas loves Gwen's new style, he says: "Gwen's big soft quiff really suits her - the colour looks beautiful like this and the height really emphasises her fun personality. It's an easy but dramatic change and I really like it on her."
