Unite brought the best in hairdressing education to Village Underground in Shoreditch with a day of up-close-and-personal presentations. Andrew Dale, founder and CEO of Unite, was joined by Marcus Allen, general manager of Urban Retreat and senior artistic directors David Fletcher and Gary Baker for a day of inspiring shows - with a host of Unite artists on hand to deliver their take on new season trends. [gallery ids="31930,31929,31928"] Working on four podiums dotted throughout the space, guests were treated to a total of 28 informal presentations covering long hair cutting, editorial styles and Autumn/Winter 2013 looks. Commenting on the event, Andrew said: "We wanted to showcase all of the elements that Unite support salons with, from cutting to dressing hair, editorial and session styling. To be able to let our salons get up close and personal with our art directors, who have first hand experience at fashion weeks from Paris to New York, the event was uniquely three dimensional and advantageous to all."
