Hairtribe.TV co-director and founder Perry Patraszewski is taking on the UK and global hair education system with a creative online channel that publishes new and engaging content every week.

Haitribe.TV is an online educational platform, which offers an international audience the opportunity to learn new hairdressing skills.

The e-learning platform features pioneering hairstylists and colourists from across the globe demonstrating how to apply innovative techniques. The inspirational tutorials are aimed at experienced hairdressers and are translated into six languages – English, French, German, Italian, Spanish and Polish. The multilingual website is currently available in 32 countries.

The professional videos are created by Anamorphic, an innovative TV, film and production company that is dedicated to the art of filmmaking and photography.

The online channel was founded by Perry, co-director of the Blue Tit salon group and Hektor Kowalski, co-director of Anamorphic. The venture is the first hairdressing channel to offer a subscription-based membership with fresh educational content delivered on a weekly basis.

The inspiration behind Hairtribe.TV is communities populated by tribes. Perry noticed that tribes restore balance and sustain themselves using the expertise and skill of stronger tribe members. The site emulates this concept by giving those with a passion for hair the opportunity to educate themselves with help from highly respected hairdressers such as Angelo Seminara and Adam Reed.

“If I can make a tutorial with a great artist, I’ll be able to help the weaker members of the hair tribe and the stronger member will be supporting their vision. Hairtribe.TV provides a link between the strong and the weak and my hope is that this will help the world to become a better place,” says Perry.
