Fellowship for british hairdressing teams extended until 2021 The Fellowship for British Hairdressing’s teams have been put on pause for the year, in light of the Covid-19 crisis. Because of the current Coronavirus pandemic the teams aren't able to take part in the usual wealth of activities that The Fellowship organise for them so the body has made the decision to pause each team resuming activity in 2021. The F.A.M.E. Team, ClubStar Art Team and PROJECT: X, Men and Colour are all temporarily suspended, owing to the nationwide lockdown. All five teams will be extended until 2021, with members of all Projects (with the exception of the F.A.M.E. Team) given the opportunity to maintain their place or leave if preferred. Fellowship president Ken Picton says: “We are incredibly thankful to all of the Team Leaders – Paul Dennison, Jonathan Andrew, Karoliina Saunders, Angelo Vallillo and Jamie Stevens – for all of their hard work with the teams so far. We’re also grateful to the guest experts who have generously given their time to mentor the teams so far. Ken continues: “We know it might be disappointing for the Projects to be postponed, but we’re dedicated to giving each and every team member the most comprehensive schedule of education and experiences possible – and in the current situation, that’s just not possible. We don’t want anyone to miss out on their 12-month program of mentoring and opportunities, which is why we’ll be picking up where we left off next year, and honouring all existing places on the projects. We are also hoping to make more spaces on the teams for new members. We can’t wait for an incredible year of exposure for the future stars of the hairdressing industry in 2021!”
