Celebrity hairdresser Stuart Phillips was recently given the honour of representing hairdressers from around the world by writing a message in the House of Commons tribute book to Nelson Mandela. The book was brought to Stuart’s London salon by Nic Careem who is the founder of the project.
The book contains more than 600 messages from Hollywood stars, prime ministers, presidents and TV stars from around the globe.
Stuart's message and signature was written next to a comment from the film star Bruce Willis.
Stuart's message read;
"Dear Mr Mandela, you are an inspiration, true leader and role model for all future leaders."
Once the book is complete it will be copied and sold around the world for the Blue Sky Africa Plan charity, which aims to end poverty.
Said Stuart: “I am very excited to represent all hairdressers around the world, for this unique honour and opportunity in being part of the book of tributes to such an amazing man.”
