Redken presents an exclusive evening with guido Guido.jpg
Session stylist extraordinaire Guido Palau talked about his life, career and ambitions in a special evening with Redken.

A Conversation With Guido saw more than 250 guests see some of his most iconic images displayed at the Saatchi Gallery in London before hearing from the man himself.

Hosted by Vogue beauty director Nichola Moulton, Guido talked candidly about his early career, the lucky breaks, his vision and influence on the hairdressing history.

Having being fired from his first job, he went on to become one of the most prolific session stylists of his generation, working on George Michael's iconic Freedom video, to creating the waif-like, anti-beauty grunge look as seen on Kate Moss in the 1990s.

He talked about working with every top fashion photographer and supermodel to regularly running a team of up to 60 assistants during Fashion Week.

Now he is working on a hair book and exhibition, both to be launched in London next year.
