The do's and don’ts of salon international

These are the must do’s (and must don’ts) for your time at Salon. Memorise them! DO wear flats- or at least a shoe that’s very comfortable. There’s over 400 brands and salon groups showcasing over the event so you’ll literally walk miles. DON’T miss the amazing Salon Live stages to see Trevor Sorbie, Sassoon Academy, Toni & Guy and many more. There’s limited availability, so make sure you book early to avoid disappointment. DO get your burning questions answered. Things like ‘Are my prices ready for 2020’, ‘How do I motivate my team?’ and ‘How do I get more income per client’- can all be answered by the 3•6•5 education team in the Business Bubble. DON’T forget to take a tote bag along to fill it with all the shopping, leaflets and offers you’ll pick up. DO meet a living legend. Head to the aptly named Legends Stage to meet stars like Lee Stafford, Charles Worthington, Mark Hayes, Errol Douglas, Andrew Collinge and Beverley C. DON’T be scared to test products out. Brands will more than happy for clients to ‘try before they buy’. DO think of it as a team day out. Bring along your salon staff, it’s a great bonding experience and (top tip alert!) there’s even a champagne bar at the Hot Tools stand. And finally, DON’T miss out on discounted tickets.
