Salon International is taking place this Saturday 13 – Monday 15 October and We. Can’t. Wait. You might know it as a hairdressing event – but here’s three reasons why Salon International is a must-attend show for barbers and mens’ hairdressers too.

  1. Live education
The HJ Men stage will feature some big barbering names such as Dutch duo Schorem Barbers,  Toni & Guy’s Charlie Cullen and Dexter Johnson and Male Grooming Salon of the Year winner Christian Wiles. Scroll down to see the full list of acts performing over the two days. It’s set to be a great line-up that will show you the work ethic around Ruffians Shoreditch works, see international names such as OSMO ambassadors Luis Chevere and seamlessly blend hairdressing and barbering techniques (MENSPIRE). There will also be live shows on big names brand stages such as Wahl, Babyliss PRO and Wella Professionals.
  2. Barbering brands
There will be big barbering brands offering limited edition discounts and offers at the show. Here’s just a taster of some of them: Wahl will be offering 20% show discounts on their stand on products such as the Wahl Cordless Senior (stand G120). Wella Professionals will be showcasing their new Seb Man (stand B140) a grooming line designed for men who want to break free from stereotypes. Andis fans are sure to go mad for the special edition Andis Nation Cordless Envy Li Clipper which features the brand’s cool Nation graphic. And head to the Reuzel area (stand v160) to snap up the latest edition to the Reuzel family – the Extreme Hold Matte Pomade. Finally, scissor brands such as Akito and Hexa Instruments – who are all offering special show discounts and gifts with purchase.
  3. Networking!
You’ll be surrounded by fellow barbers and mens’ hairdressers at Salon International from both the UK and around the world. You’ll also find the British Barbering Association (BBA) at the show (stand U162) – head to their stand for industry advice and information on how to become a member or BBA-approved business.
