Get your early bird tickets to salon international 2018 now The Salon Live shows and seminars have been announced for Salon International 2018. Until 29 June 2018 you can pick up discounted early bird tickets to Salon International. Below are the dates, times and sneak previews on what is set to be a great line up for Salon Live. We'll be unveiling more details about exhibitors and shows very soon... Saturday 13 October 14.45 - 16 Sassoon Academy Led by Mark Hayes, the Sassoon International Creative Team will share the newest looks and techniques from their latest Academy collection. Each Sassoon collection appears effortless but has a considered theme that embraces fashion, street culture and socio economic trends, as well as referencing the fields of photography, art, design and architecture. Sassoon will continue to challenge, inspire and excite, fusing precision technique with human individuality to create cuts and colours that unite modernist purity with creative experimentation. Sunday 14 October  10.30 - 11.45 Salon Services and Salon Success presents MyDentity with Guy Tang Cult LA colourist and hair activist, Guy Tang, created a social media dynasty by inspiring other stylists, just like him, to make a difference and change the world doing hair. Guy introduced his own unique style into the industry by providing education through hair art on his YouTube channel, Instagram and Facebook platforms. Through these platforms, Guy empowered his #hairbestie family to bring fun and excitement back into the industry. 12.15 - 13.30 Schwarzkopf Professional Schwarzkopf Professional present Tyler Johnston, Lesley Jennison, Hooker & Young and X-presion. The show itself will include four different sections – Essential Looks, BlondMe Icon, X-presion and Hooker & Young.  It is the brand's 120th anniversary and they are looking firmly towards the future celebrating 120 years of innovation that reinvents, recreates and reconstructs hairdressing and the ever changing trends. 14.15 - 15.30 Sassoon Academy Again led by Mark Hayes, each Sassoon collection will appear effortless but has an intently considered theme that embraces fashion, street culture and socio economic trends, as well as referencing the fields of photography, art, design and architecture. 16.15 - 17.30 Trevor Sorbie The Trevor Sorbie Artistic Team want to take you on a once in a lifetime experience by creating something that cannot be translated via a phone! With the aim to inspire and give the audience a new passion and drive to return to work, the 2018 Salon Live show will take you on a trip inside the working minds of the team. Giving you an insight into the process, creation and inspiration for producing a show like this, because when this is done correctly, it’s possible to leave the audience with something much more valuable than a technique. 18.00 - late Toni & Guy MainStage (Capital Hall) The 2018 the Toni & Guy show is guaranteed to surprise, delight and inspire. A tribute will be paid to their late, great founder Toni Mascolo. His daughter and global creative director, Sacha Mascolo-Tarbuck and the multi-award-winning artistic team will launch the new campaigns for Toni & Guy, essensuals and label.m. As long-time Official Sponsors of London Fashion Week and London Fashion Week Men’s, model’s will walk the runway featuring trend-led styles straight from the catwalk. And before the legendary after-party kicks off, the show-stopping finale will leave guests wanting more. It will be a night that celebrates the life of an amazing man and the brilliant work of the brand that is his legacy. 18.30 doors Rush Live in aid of Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH) Once again the multi-award winning and current British Hairdressing Awards Artistic Team of the Year will host their annual fundraising show in aid of Great Ormond Street Hospital in the Salon Live Theatre on Sunday 14th October 2018. This years’ show will take you on an expressive journey where beauty in hair is both balanced and contrasting. Dishevelled, soft, sexy hair influenced by the1990s provides the references for the cutting and colour sections presented by the uber talented award winning team.  The finale of the show will feature haute couture fused with avant-garde hair inspired by the Popovy Sisters. Monday 15 October  12 - 13.15 Patrick Cameron Patrick Cameron will present his Heritage Collection at this year's Salon Live. He will showcase his new and exciting must-have braiding techniques combined with beautiful casual bouffants. Simple, step-by-step education is the secret to the success of these new looks. 13.30 - 14.15 BaByliss PRO presents Session to Salon with Syd Hayes BaByliss PRO will be taking the Salon Live audience into the world of session styling with hairdressing legend Syd Hayes. Session to Salon explores what it takes to get from creative idea to finished look, including creating mood boards, casting models and working closely with designers and photographers. Syd will be recreating some key looks using BaByliss PRO’s Titanium Expression range of styling tools to demonstrate those essential backstage and on set techniques. There is limited availability for Salon Live due to the auditorium capacity so book early to avoid disappointment. 12 - 13.30 Mahogany

This year will be the 22nd consecutive year that the Mahogany creative team will bring their look, listen and learn seminars to Salon International. Their groundbreaking cutting and colouring techniques are at the forefront of UK hairdressing and will inspire visitors and hairdressers alike. The team will be showcasing the latest Spring/Summer 2018 collection. Led by international creative director Colin Greaney, UK creative director Antony Licata and Senior Creative Director Neil Atkinson, the seminars will continue to stay true to the Mahogany Hairdressing philosophy, leaving the audience inspired and motivated. “Our Mahogany creative team continually endeavour to push the boundaries of creativity and energy with every show and seminar we do” says Colin Greaney, International Creative Director. This year the Mahogany seminars will be showcasing the latest collection in conjunction with the launch of their brand-new educational streaming website, giving the audience an added dimension of creativity and education.   https://www.instagram.com/p/BkKpFCSnJ4n/?taken-by=hairdressersjournal
