It's all about curls at salon international

We all love the super sleek hair trend, but it's proving to be all about curls at Salon International 2019. From the stages to the product innovation, everything that hair brands are showcasing and highlighting is catering to curly clients. Here's a recap of what we've seen so far... Curly upos at Babyliss Pro On the Babyliss Pro stage we saw a delicate, regal-looking Afro updo (pictured below and in our featured images) created by Richard Phillipart. The hair tools brand took the audience on a journey of an editorial shoot – we heard from a make-up artist, stylist and of course Richard himself who gave a fascination insight into creating the look from top to toe. Created using the Titanium Expression 10mm Ultra Slim wand, the look was pure ethereal magic. Ouidad comes to Salon International! Curl-exclusive brand Ouidad have been expertly looking after curls since 1984 and now they are bringing their expertise to the UK! On stand P130, the shampoo and styling brand have been showing stylists how their salons can be magnets for curly girls. Distributed by Wonderful Brands, head to the stand to see live demos. Waved extensions at Great Lengths Forget notions of extensions only coming in long and straight styles, at the Great Lengths stand the brand were all about showing how versatile hair extensions can be. Suitable for shorter styles and for curly hair types, the brand were highlighting their GL Tapes Minis and Mini Strands which save the stylist time and create subtle, but dramatically hair-enhancing looks. See them on stand L122.   Curl innovation at Diva Professional Launching at Salon International, the Diva Professional Air Curl creates perfect curls every time. Producing a shot of cold air at the end of the curling process means that the tool perfectly sets curls. Diva Professional ambassador Michael Gray will be demoing the tools on the stand N170 throughout the show.
