Congratulations! 7 companies celebrating anniversaries at salon international

It takes something special to withstand the test of time in this fast-paced, ever changing industry, so we salute these companies who all celebrated major milestones at Salon International 2017. Andis - 95  Andis celebrated their 95th year with a Limited Edition Master Clipper and the launch of a new Barbers Duo. In a packed programme of hairdressing presentations that showcased women's hair as well as the men's hair the brand are renowned for, their guest artists, including MK and newest team member Sid Sottung, wowed the crowds with their clippering techniques. The Alternative Hair Show - 35 This year marks 35 years of the phenomenal cause that has raised millions to help fight Leukaemia. To celebrate, The Alternative Hair Show invited hairdressers to sign their huge wall mount. First up to sign the wall was founder Mr Tony Rizzo. Crazy Colour - 40 Aside from the eye-catching fuscia bull, Brunas, Crazy Colour's stage showcased 40 years of the eye-popping colour work the brand is famed for.   Electric Hairdressing - 10 It's a decade since Mark Woolley's Electric brand burst onto the scene. This year, they showcased all of the elements that make the brand stand out from the crowd, including their products, their studio nights and the details of the brands new global destination, Falmer Court. Kent Brushes - 240 As hairdressing heritage go, Kent Brushes set the standard having hand-made brushes for an incredible 240 years. This year they brought to Salon International some of their original brushes as well as their professional collection and also gave away limited edition brushes to lucky visitors. Lotus Furniture at Salons Direct - 25 To celebrate 25 years of bringing quality and affordable salon furniture to the hairdressing industry, Salons Direct invited visitors to take a moment out to put their feet up and relax as they tried a selection of the most popular Lotus Furniture salon chairs. Manic Panic - 40 Founders Snooky and Tish took to the Salon International floor to celebrate 40 years creating statement colour. With larger than life products and the launch of limited edition shade, Amythest Ashes, it looks like another very bright 40 years ahead.
