Located in the heart of London's West End, Rush Hair's new flagship salon was designed to epitomise the glamour of a bygone era.

"We wanted to recreate the golden days of British hairdressing, when Raymond, Leonard and Freddie French had glamorous ateliers situated in the heart of London," says Stell Andrew, co-owner of the salon along with Andrew Phouli.

"We wanted to restore the glitz of London hairdressing and the level of service they provided, mirroring the philosophy of  'At your service, Madame'."

Location was paramount and a search of London's prestigious West End revealed a two-floor premises in Piccadilly. It then took two years to transform the interior to fit their glamorous vision, with new internal structures added, including the first purpose-built beauty area in a Rush Hair salon.

The lower floor comprises an express blow-dry bar with three styling stations and two backwashes, while upstairs there is a luxurious marbled reception area and 26 styling stations, as well as beauty rooms.

"The final result is stylish and luxurious," says Stell. "It's a place where clients will want to spend a lot of time."
