Online retailer Luxurious Look, which stocks professional haircare brands has launched a scheme to help salons generate revenue ahead of the salon reopening dates for Scotland and England.

The Luxurious Look Support Your Local Salon Scheme allows salons to partner with the online retailer and get commission through its buyback scheme. Using the partner status salons and barbershops can receive 8% commission on purchases made by their customers between salon appointments.

The purchases are tracked through a dedicated online page or a unique purchase link. The aim is to give salons increased revenue from product sales which forms a small percentage of annual revenue. Plus, it gives salons the opportunity to sell slow moving or unused stock directly to Luxurious Look for consumer resale.

How does the online retailer scheme help salons generate revenue?

1. Salon owners can register to join the Support Your Local Salon Scheme by clicking here.

2. Luxurious Look provides a unique tracking code and/or page to be added to your website and/or Instagram bio. We will support you through the setup process.

3. Salons can tell their customers about the scheme and direct them to purchase their products through their website or Instagram bio which automatically redirects to Luxurious Look where the order is tracked and commission is paid out on a monthly basis.

Luxurious Look’s managing director Mark Reedman said:

The team at Luxurious Look are extremely passionate about professional haircare and believe both hair salons and barbershops form a very important part of our local communities.

He added: “With eCommerce sales growing more and more each year it is putting increasing pressure on the retail side of the salon trade, which, combined with the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, means there has never been a more important time to extend our support. Our new ‘Support Your Local Salon Scheme’ has been launched to overcome this problem whilst providing the opportunity for salon and barber shop owners to generate additional income from a wider scope of professional haircare products.”
