Remi cachet announce image of the year

In January, leading extension brand Remi Cachet, asked their stylists to search through their photo streams and select one image that best represented their work to be entered into a Image of the Year competition through social media. “The response was amazing and it was quite difficult to short list the entries down to just five", explains educator Phil Tapping.  “The finalists looks showcased beautiful natural looking hair extensions and I’m glad I didn’t have to pick the outright winner!.” The five finalists were then put up for a public vote on Facebook where the industry where asked to vote for their favourite look. Stylist Lisa Archer, owner of LA Hairvoltion Hair Extensions Studio in Sandach, Cheshire, was announced as the winner this week after receiving the most likes. The hair featured in the winning image was created using a Remi Cachet Hollywood Weft™ in 16" and colour 6/22, with the end look styled using a 45mm wand.  Lisa describes her hair extension application style as romantic, feminine and glamorous, which is definitely portrayed in this winning image. On winning Lisa commented, “I only saw the competition in the last few days but knew instantly which image to submit.  Having applied this weft a few months ago and posting on social media, I have had so many enquiries and consultations specifically requesting this look that it’s become a bit of a running joke in the salon.” Having won, Lisa will be supported with additional promotion from the brand, featured in their blogs and upcoming campaigns.
