Team q hair and beauty helps the four streets project for homeless The staff at Q Hair and Beauty  in Chichester, has been helping the homeless by buying essential toiletries for them. “Our staff are naturally caring people and I am very proud that they are being so generous,” says Dawn Lawrence Grant, managing director of the multi-award-winning salon on North Street. Items such as shower gel, make up wipes, mini make up bags, toothbrushes, toothpaste, deodorant, shampoo and dry shampoo have been provided to the people in need. “I often see members of our team popping back from their lunch break with all kinds of things they think might brighten the day for someone living on the streets. Items which we all take for granted but which can help make less-fortunate men and women feel better about themselves,” explains Dawn. They are later packaged together into boxes and handed over to the Four Streets project. The Four Streets project, a volunteer group, has been founded in January 2017 with the mission to support those who are in need on the streets in the Chichester area. The community group meets those sleeping on the four high streets of Chichester to provide food, water and other essentials such as sleeping bags and blankets to those who need them. They also recommend local services that might be able to provide additional help and support.
