Philip kingsley appoints blake hughes as new ceo Global haircare brand Philip Kingsley has announced the appointment of new CEO Blake Hughes. Blake will focus on defining the company’s long-term business strategy including capitalising on emerging opportunities in the UK and internationally as well as the evolving digital space. He previously held the position of Managing Director of Murad for the past three years. Prior to his time at Murad, Blake worked as Managing Director (UK & Ireland) for Elizabeth Arden, Board Member of CTPA (the Cosmetic, Toiletries & Perfumery Association), Beauty Reinvention Project Leader for Marks & Spencer, and Managing Director of Procter & Gamble Prestige. Blake studied Chemistry at Oxford University, began his career in the hair care sector, and has now amassed over 20 years of experience in global beauty care. On his appointment, Blake commented, “I am thrilled to join the Philip Kingsley team at such a prominent juncture in its evolution. I am excited to work alongside the Kingsley family and entire team to create an even more dynamic and customer centric brand, building on the entrepreneurial spirt and unique proposition that has been established.”
