Linnaean salon celebrate opening with a launch party

On the 21 November, Linnaean salon based in Battersea, Nine Elms Lane, celebrated the opening of their salon. Guests included the new CEO of Kao Julie Winchester accompanied by Irene Meikle, head of Goldwell academy, Neil Moodie and Errol Douglas MBE. The guests were treated to an exclusive view of the new collection “From catwalk to client,” this was presented by the Linnaean hair team, led by the creative directors Ross Cosgrove and Kathryn Dartnell. The collection, the first for the salon was inspired by Kathryn and Ross’ experience working backstage at this year’s fashion weeks which they reinterpreted and created in their salon. The guests enjoyed vegan canapés, wine and mocktails supplied from the in-store plant based restaurant. Elena Tayleur, the company’s founder, made a speech towards the end of the evening expressing her gratitude for the salons styling teams and all of their hard work and support. She also showed appreciation for Goldwell and Oribe for contributing superb goodie bags on the night and their ongoing support in being a product partner for Linnaean salon. Elena said, “What a fantastic night! It was wonderful to see the industry giants enjoying themselves under the Linnaean roof. A very proud moment for all of us who are involved with Linnaean. A special thank you goes to Penny Etheridge, Ross Cosgrove and Kathryn Dartnell whose hard work and professionalism made the evening the runaway success it certainly was.”
