Denman is celebrating their 50th Anniversary! Denroy chairman, John Rainey MBE hosted a family fun day for the staff and their families.

Denman Professional is part of the Denroy group, and Denman was one of just two founding brands for the business which were purchased in 1972.

This year marks the 50th Anniversary of the birth of Denroy, parent company of Denman International Ltd. Denroy was formed in 1972 when Martin Rainey Ltd acquired Ulster Plastics. In the 70’s more than 90% of Denroy’s business was within an 80 miles radius of their factory in Northern Ireland.

Today the company is truly global and serves over 80 countries. In their first decade sales of Denman hairbrushes more than doubled in volume year on year as Vidal Sassoon promoted the Classic D3 Styler while he travelled the world demonstrating his revolutionary blow-drying techniques.

Denman remains a family-owned company and values each and every member of the growing team. To mark the anniversary, Chairman John Rainey invited every member of staff and their families to a party with food, fun activities for the kids, live music and an Awards ceremony to recognise just some of the exceptional staff.

John said “We were delighted to have hosted an anniversary party for all of our members of staff and their families and what a success! It was so nice to come together to celebrate how far we have come!”
