Andis names daren ‘baldy’ kenny as lead educator for uk

Andis Company, an industry leader in barbering and men’s grooming since 1922, has named Daren ‘Baldy’ Kenny as Lead Educator for the UK market in its Barber and Beauty Division. Working as an Andis Educator for three years, Baldy has developed a strong relationship with the brand, delivering stage education, barbering demonstrations and seminars across the UK, and more recently in the US and Russia. Acting as Andis Education Manager, Jessica Zeinstra’s right hand man in the UK, Baldy will assist in the development of Andis’ Education Team, mentoring both the current team and any potential members, whilst helping with the growing demand for Andis education throughout Europe by scouting and interviewing new talent. “I was thrilled to be offered the opportunity as Lead Educator and am excited to drive the team forward as the brand continues to grow in the UK and Europe”, says Baldy. “As Andis continues to put focus on growing our international reach we need to ensure the proper infrastructure is in place to support the demand. We needed to appoint a leader to help bridge the gap between the US and UK and in doing so, our team is now poised and ready to take on growing demand.
