There are four trend looks that will inspire the competition this year and each has a directional image and a more commercial look.

Competitors are asked to interpret one of the Trend Vision 09 trends and to give it their own personal style.

De-Lush

A luscious state of mind and a ripe, full, confident attitude to life.

Warm reds, satin browns, rich coppers and ginger shades teamed with full, sexy waves, side-sweeps and 70's excess.

A futuristic trend. Crisp and bright with pastel tones.

Cool and pastel blondes meet shorter styles and asymmetric bobs in this sharp but soft look. Modern and fresh.

Intersexion masculine and feminine worlds collide in this 'new-age glam' style.

Team monochrome blacks and greys with combinations styles - straight and frizzy, round and square.

 Virtual Life

Blurs the line between fantasy and reality.

A creative look with bold colour statements and edgy cuts. A playful style influenced by technology and escapism.
